Ferrous contamination deposited on the bodywork or penetrated into the rim paint is impossible to remove by classical cleaning methods.
Fallout Iron Remover 1L Refill was specially developed to remove what classic rim cleaners fail to remove. The product is highly effective and acid-free and is ideal on all steel, light alloy and even chrome and polished wheels. Thanks to its innovative formula, it chemically converts and dissolves ferrous residues that have penetrated the paint, creating a violet solution that can be easily and safely rinsed away.
The product is nontoxic, pH balanced, and can be used on bodywork, such as on cars that have stopped near train stations or streetcars. The product has a characteristic sulfur smell, so we recommend using it in an open, well-ventilated place.
To decontaminate the bodywork:
1. Wash and dry the car.
2. Dispense the product at a distance of 60 cm to have a wide range. Proceed panel by panel and half a car at a time to avoid letting the product dry on the paint.
3. Wait 2 to 3 minutes for the product to react with the ferrous particles and take on its characteristic purplish color, after which proceed to rinse.
Caution
Avoid product contact with cast iron brake calipers rich in ferrous substances. Do not use on hot surfaces.
For proper maintenance of the rims' appearance, decontaminate the rims about every 3000 km.
To decontaminate the circles:
- Dispense Fallout Iron Remover onto the rim and allow it to work for about three to four minutes without drying the surface. Its innovative formula features a special indicator that reacts with the iron contaminant particles on the rim, dissolving them. As it acts it takes on the characteristic purplish color that dissolves and simultaneously degreases the treated surface in depth.
- Help yourself with a brush to remove dirt deep even between spokes and in hard-to-reach crevices. Then proceed to rinse the rim with plenty of water and dry with a microfiber cloth.
- To allow for the best decontamination, if the rim is very dirty, it is best to use our Rim & Tire Cleaner first and rinse and dry thoroughly.
